Automated daily backups are included on every HostPanel plan - web hosting, CMS, app hosting, game servers, and databases. Not an add-on, not a paid tier.
Hourly Where It Matters
Plans that change fast get more frequent snapshots: hourly incremental backups on CMS Growth and above, and on game server tiers with 8GB RAM or more.
Point-in-Time Recovery
Business-tier managed databases add continuous point-in-time recovery, so you can restore to any moment rather than the nearest daily snapshot.
One-Click Restore
Pick a restore point in the dashboard and click restore. No support ticket, no restore fee, no waiting for someone else to do it.
Stored in the UK
Backups live in our UK London datacentre alongside your primary data. Nothing is replicated abroad, which keeps your data-residency answer simple.
Rolling Retention
Recent restore points are kept on a rolling basis and listed in the dashboard, so you can always see exactly which snapshots are available before you restore.
An honest note: keep an off-host copy too
Host backups protect you from most disasters, but no host's backups - including ours - should be your only copy. The 3-2-1 rule exists for a reason: three copies, two storage types, one held away from your host.
Site files over SFTP
Every web hosting and game server plan includes SFTP access. Pull a copy of your files to local or cloud storage on whatever schedule suits you.
Databases via dumps
Export MySQL with mysqldump or from the dashboard, and take logical dumps of managed PostgreSQL. A plain SQL dump restores anywhere, on any host.
